The newspaper's circulation grew from 15,000 in the early 1930s to 30,000 in the latter part of the decade. The paper was closed in the aftermath of the [[German invasion of Poland]], along with [[Mass media in Poland|most other Polish newspapers]]. The newspaper was reactivated in 1941 in [[Palestine (region)|Palestine]] by Kański and was the most popular Polish newspaper in the [[Middle East]] until 1947.<br />
