&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Configuresoft, Inc.&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; was an American [[software house|software company]], best known for their [[Enterprise Configuration Manager]] [[software]]. In 1999 by E. Alexander Goldstein ([[Chief Executive Officer|CEO]]), Dr Dennis Moreau ([[Chief Technical Officer|CTO]]), Louis Woodhill ([[Chairman]]) and Alan Sage (VP, Worldwide Sales) formed a company which they named &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Fundamental Software, Inc.&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{cite web|url=http://www.hoovers.com/configuresoft/--ID__133267--/free-co-factsheet.xhtml?cm_ven=Biz_Dev&amp;amp;cm_cat=Google&amp;amp;cm_pla=Free&amp;amp;cm_ite=Factsheet|title=Configuresoft, Inc. information and related industry information from Hoover&amp;#039;s}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt;  Based in [[Woodland Park, Colorado]], the company was founded to purchase the [[intellectual property|intellectual property rights]] to [[London]]-based company [[Serverware Group plc]]&amp;#039;s Enterprise Configuration Manager network systems management product (with the British company taking a stake in the new [[Startup company|start-up]] as part of the deal).&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{cite news|url=http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4191/is_20000213/ai_n9966611|title =The Gazette - Fundamental Software one to watch | work=The Gazette | first=Joanna | last=Bean | date=2000-02-13}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

In January 2001 the company changed its name to &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Configuresoft, Inc.&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{cite web|url=http://infosecuritymag.techtarget.com/articles/january01/departments_news.shtml|title=Information Security - January 2001}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; in order to differentiate it from a number of other software houses with the &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Fundamental Software&amp;#039;&amp;#039; name.&lt;br /&gt;
