&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Charactosuchus&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; is an [[extinct]] [[genus]] of [[crocodilia]]n. It was assigned to the [[Family (biology)|family]] [[Crocodylidae]] in 1988.&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;Carroll, R. L.(1988). &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Vertebrate Paleontology and Evolution]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;. WH Freeman and Company, New York {{ISBN|0-7167-1822-7}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; Specimens have been found in [[Colombia]], [[Brazil]], [[Jamaica]], and possibly [[Florida]] and [[South Carolina]].
