<br />
During the German occupation of Poland (World War II), the Germans arrested the seven-member Polish family of Chamier-Gliszczyński, pre-war Polish activists, who stayed in the village after fleeing persecution in Płotowo.&lt;ref name=mw&gt;{{cite book|last=Wardzyńska|first=Maria|year=2009|title=Był rok 1939.
