Geographically, Bełsznica lies near the hills of the [[Rybnik Plateau]]. From the hill located 256m above sea level one can see the valleys of the [[Olza (river)|Olza]] and [[Oder|Odra]] rivers, as well as the [[Moravian Gate]]. Historically, the village is located in [[Upper Silesia]]. In the village there also lies the Bełsznica Train Stop. It lies approximately {{convert|4|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north-west of [[Gorzyce, Silesian Voivodeship|Gorzyce]], {{convert|7|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} west of [[Wodzisław Śląski]], and {{convert|55|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south-west of the regional capital [[Katowice]].<br />
