He was born in [[Philadelphia, Pennsylvania]] and died in [[Santa Barbara, California]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In 1932 he was a member of the American field hockey team, which won the bronze medal. He played two matches as forward.&lt;br /&gt;
