== Professional wrestling contributions ==

Hi Steveweiser. Thanks for contributing to the professional wrestling articles here on Wikipedia. Please don't add detailed accounts of what occurs on each episode of televised wrestling shows. They make articles unnecessarily large. Ideally, only include major events that happen in each wrestler's career.

Also, there's a [[Wikipedia:WikiProject|WikiProject]] called [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling]] you may want to consider joining. Thanks again for your contributions and happy editing! --[[User:Jtalledo|Jtalledo]] [[User_talk:Jtalledo|(talk)]] 19:50, 3 December 2005 (UTC)

==License tagging for Image:Trish As Mickie.JPG==
Thanks for uploading [[:Image:Trish As Mickie.JPG]]. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an [[Wikipedia:Image copyright tags|image tag]] applied to the [[Wikipedia:Image description page|image description page]] indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:
*[[Wikipedia:Image use policy]]
*[[Wikipedia:Image copyright tags]]

This is an automated notice by [[User:OrphanBot|OrphanBot]]. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at [[Wikipedia:Media copyright questions]]. 23:07, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

==Image copyright problem with Image:Theo_Walcott.jpg==
Thanks for uploading [[:Image:Theo_Walcott.jpg]]. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate [[WP:ICT|copyright tag]], it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Thanks for your work on the [[Fame Academy]] page. I noticed that you have been uploading the songs from the live performances. This is great, although could you make sure that when you add a link to that page (Example: [[What's Love Got To Do With It?]]) that you follow the link through to make sure you are not reaching a disambiguation page (as you were in this case). Just makes it less work in the long run!

== [[Ray Quinn (album)]]/[[Doing It My Way]] ==

I don't know where the title ''Doing It My Way'' came from, and I don't know why it's listed on the BBC's charts, but please can you note that Ray Quinn's official website refers to it as a '''self-titled album''', for example [http://www.rayquinnmusic.com/news/album_out_now.html?page=1 on this page]. &mdash; [[User:AnemoneProjectors|AnemoneProjectors]] <small>([[User talk:AnemoneProjectors|zomg!]])</small> 20:58, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
:''I had only changed it because more than one news source referred to the album as "Doing It My Way". Can you provide in the article specific references to any books, articles, websites or other [[Wikipedia:Reliable sources|reliable sources]] that will allow people to verify the content in the article? ::I don't understand that logic... the reason for having seperate articles for the individual groups is because of the matches. == AfD Nomination: Emirates Cup ==

Hello, and [[Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers|welcome to Wikipedia]]! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see [[WP:NOT|What Wikipedia is not]] and [[WP:DP|Deletion policy]]). Since it does not seem that [[Emirates Cup]] meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Emirates Cup]]. Don't forget to add four tildes (<nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article.<!-- Template:AFDWarningNew --> -- <font face="Kristen ITC">'''[[User:Jreferee|<font color="Blue">Jreferee</font>]]''' ''([[User talk:Jreferee|Talk]])''</font> 03:46, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for providing that video. However, the general consensus at [[WP:PW]] is to wait for SmackDown to air in the US. I assume you won't mind waiting about 3-5 hours for that info to go in? [[Wikipedia:Copyrights#Linking to copyrighted works]] pretty much says to not link to cites that violate others copyrights. Since WWE has not given YouTube permission to display any of their programs (and have threatened to sue YouTube before), it's clear that YouTube does not have permission to allow WWE programming videos on their site. ==Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Girls Aloud Style.jpg==
Thanks for uploading '''[[:Image:Girls Aloud Style.jpg]]'''. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Using one of the templates at [[Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline]] is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. == Live Lounge cover songs... ==

Hi!
I have a keen interest in Radio 1's Live Lounge and I happened to notice that you often update the covers page (thanks..appreciated). I was just wondering how long you've been doing this and if you kept a note of dates of appearances (like I do). The reason I ask is because there are a few tracks in that list that I have researched at length and I cannot find anything to confirm they were ever performed in Live Lounge. That's not to say they weren't of course, but if it hadn't been for their inclusion in the covers list I wouldn't have tried to find out about them. Sadly the info on the Radio 1 site is a bit limited, particularly for the older shows, so I'm really hoping you can help me resolve these anomalies.

{{User:Redxx/Signature}} 01:49, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

:I mainly do the newer ones as they come in - a lot of the older ones are very difficult to research, and Radio 1 don't help by only setting up a database for the newer ones. Some people even put up songs that weren't on the Live Lounge, such as the [[Sugababes]] doing "[[I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor]]", which was actually performed at the [[NME Awards]]. [[User:Steveweiser|Steveweiser]] ([[User talk:Steveweiser#top|talk]]) 11:57, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

:: Yes, like I say, there are a few suspect ones included on the list as it is, which having researched these at length, I'm half tempted to remove. {{User:Redxx/Signature}} 16:20, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

:::I have finished off reformatting the [[List_of_Live_Lounge_covers]] into table and I've also added all the dates I researched and was able to verify (although I got waylaid doing other things and am therefore a few months behind). ==Speedy deletion of [[:Chris Ogbonnaya]]==
[[Image:Ambox warning pn.svg|48px|left]] A tag has been placed on [[:Chris Ogbonnaya]], requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

{{center|'''''bio'''''}}

Under the [[WP:CSD#General_criteria|criteria for speedy deletion]], articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please [[Wikipedia:Starting an article|see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article]], and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add <code>{{tl|hangon}}</code> on the top of the page and leave a note on [[Talk:Chris Ogbonnaya|the article's talk page]] explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria [[Wikipedia:Notability (people)|for biographies]], [[WP:WEB|for web sites]], [[WP:BAND|for bands]], or [[WP:CORP|for companies]]. :Deletion declined. Bio is not a deletion criteria - we have lots of biographies on Wikipedia. Non-notable is a deletion criteria, but probably doesn't apply to [[Chris Ogbonnaya]]. ==Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Girls Aloud - Tangled Up.jpg==
Thank you for uploading '''[[:File:Girls Aloud - Tangled Up.jpg]]'''. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by [[Wikipedia:Non-free content]]. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from [[Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline]] is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an [[Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free|image copyright tag]]; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our [[Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#Files|criteria for speedy deletion]].
