Hi Dcheney, I thought if anyone might be able to help me with a question about Catholic-hierarchy.org it would be you. I was perusing the [[Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 203#catholic-hierarchy.org|thread concerning whether CH was a reliable source]], and saw that the consensus reached there was a little muddled. It was rather surprising to me that CH isn't considered an RS, since it certainly passes the [[duck test]]. I often find myself wanting to cite to it, but hesitate because of CH's classification as potentially non-RS in the past. I was thinking about opening up another discussion at [[WP:RSN]] to reach a consensus (hopefully in favor of concluding CH is an RS). I was wondering if you have thoughts about this. :For obvious reasons, I don't think it is appropriate for me to comment on the merits of the site as a source. I'll happily provide any information that I can regarding  the site and the sources I use. It would be nice to have a more clear cut answer to the question - the last outcome was rather muddled. == Interview for 90.1 FM, KKFI, Kansas City Community Radio?  ==

Might you have time and interest in helping me recruit between, say, two and four people, including yourself, to be interviewed for <!-- Radio Active Magazine-->{{cite Q|Q57451712}}, which is broadcasted Tuesday evenings, 6-6:30 PM on [[KKFI]]?  

I'm currently producing most of the content for that show.  My calendar is currently open for any Tuesday December 20 or later.  I would love to interview some Wikimedians in the greater Kansas City area.  I found [[Wikipedia:Meetup/Kansas City]].  That page lists 16 events between 2012-06-16 and 2021-11-20 plus one that was apparently canceled and nothing since 2021-11-20.  I left message on the associated [[Wikipedia talk:Meetup/Kansas City|Talk]] page.  Sadly, I've seen no response to that.  I've also found [[Category:Wikipedians in the Kansas City metropolitan area]] and [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Kansas City]].

However I look at the sources, it seems to me that these two bishops are the same person: [https://www.catholic-hierarchy.org/bishop/bjanoscs.html bjaniscs] ({{Q|1058342}}) and [https://www.catholic-hierarchy.org/bishop/bmeranj.html bmeranj] ({{Q|18126338}}). According to the descriptions, both were [https://www.catholic-hierarchy.org/diocese/dszeg.html bishops of Csanád] between 1198/99-1201/03. The Catholic Hierarchy is as if the life path of the same person is reported in two parts: ''I. János, bishop of Csanád'' is the bishop of Csanád, but according to the CH he died. The fact that he was the bishop of Csanád was omitted from the life of ''Archbishop Johanes von Meran'' (Wd: ''John, Archbishop of Esztergom''). It is enough to read the [[John, Archbishop of Esztergom|English-language article]], but it is also stated in several Hungarian-language sources that Archbishop Johanes von Meran was the bishop of Csánád in the same period as János.

::According to this, János (János I/John I) is mentioned for the first time in a document dated 1198 as the elected bishop of Csanád, and he held this position from 1199-1201. He became the bishop of Kalocsa in 1203 (here, the book describes his role in Hungarian domestic politics at the time, as well as the power struggles between the archdiocese of Kalocsa and Esztergom), and then III. Ince appointed János I from Kalocsa to the head of the Esztergom archbishopric by transfer. Died about November 1223. Based on all this, it appears that these two persons were one.
