View source for User:QIM

"QIM" is the internet handle for [[Tom Smith]].  It derives from a spiritual project Tom did with autistics using [[Facilitated Communication]] [[FC]] in the early 1990s which produced a book they named "[[User:QIM/QIM Tunes|QIM/QIM Tunes]]". It's an acronym for "The Source I aM", with "Q" coming from the German word "quelle" meaning "Source".  It's frequently used to describe the suspected source document, [[Q document]], for the books of the New Testament.

Born in [[Tonawanda]] [[New York (state)|New York]], attended [http://www.oneonta.edu/home/default.asp State University of New York at Oneonta] from '65-'69.  My career for the next 35 years was in nursing, mental health, social work and with developmental disabilities.  I'm divorced with two grown children and live in Santa Barbara Ca.
