My name is Jeffery Nichols and I am an editor living in [[Yellowknife]], Canada. I have been a Wikipedian since April 2005 and an [[Wikipedia:Administrators|administrator]] on the English language Wikipedia since May 2007. I spent five years as board member and secretary of [http://wikimedia.ca Wikimedia Canada]. I hold [[academic degree|degrees]] in [[Canadian Studies|Canadian studies]], [[political science]], [[Master of Public Administration|public administration]], and [[Juris Doctor|law]].

Most of my edits are about Canadian politics, history, and culture (wikiprojects [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Political parties and politicians in Canada|WP:PPAP]] & [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Governments of Canada|WP:GOC]]). I used to spend a lot of time establishing [[WP:FT|featured topics]], but real life responsibilities have kept me from being a full-time worker there. I have written a few templates that seem to be working, notably ones related to Canadian election results. I have dabbled in edits outside of the encyclopedia, mostly Wiktionary and Commons.
