==Incorporation date==
NaCo is incorrect in its 1779 date. 1779 is when Vermont was created with 2 counties (Cumberland and Bennington). In 1781, Cumberland was split into three, including Windham. Is there any other source that corroborates 1779? :You're right, Vermont was created with Cumberland and Bennington in 1779. In 1781, Cumberland was split into three counties, Orange, Windsor, and Windham. BUT Windham(former Cumberland) was not re-created, but rather renamed in 1781, and its creation date is the same as Cumberland's. Overwhelming weight of the sources provided here seems to say that Windham was newly created, or that Cumberland is extinct — are there any other sources that support the renaming idea?
