This is not clear to me. Does this mean that there are a total of three accents used when dubbing a film into Spanish? Spanish, Mexican and Rioplatense? But first, it says two accents. == Voiceless uvular trill in Peninsular Spanish ==

{{Re|Jotamar}} I'm not gonna undo your deletion, and I don't think I'll add anything in without better/more detailed sources, but I found two sources attesting the voiceless uvular trill as an allophone of /x/ in some Peninsular Spanish - the brief "jota uvular" description on this page, [https://dialectos.osu.edu/feature-descriptions/ Feature descriptions], part of Ohio State University's "Voices of the Hispanic World" archive, and [https://www.ipds.uni-kiel.de/kjk/pub_exx/kk2009_4/spanish/spa_madrid.html Castilian Spanish - Madrid] which seems to be an old teaching resource by the linguist Klaus Kohler, and which transcribes it as {{IPA|[χ͡ʁ̥]}}. Anyway, I'd imagine it's pretty easy for uvular fricatives to become trills or like, acquire a trilled element. [[User:Erinius|Erinius]] ([[User talk:Erinius|talk]]) 02:35, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
:{{ping|Erinius}} I don't have any particular reason to mistrust the trill statement, it's just that I had never read about it before, and the Citation Needed tag had been there (probably introduced by me, I haven't checked) since 2016!
