[http://www.newscientist.com/news/news.jsp?id=ns99996052 An article in the New Scientist] gives interesting details about this flight including some "potentially catastrophic" glitches. This could be a source of some really interesting additions to this article.

For example:

Per [[MOS:TIES]], the fact that [[Scaled Composites]] is an American company should have us using American English and MDY dates. However, the US military uses DMY. Do you have any evidence that Scaled Composites follows the military and uses DMY? == "Became an astronaut" ==
In the government sphere, people who have successfully trained as astronauts are astronauts, whether or not they go into space. Is that not the same for non-government astronauts? [[User:Grassynoel|Grassynoel]] ([[User talk:Grassynoel|talk]]) 15:50, 15 February 2025 (UTC)

: Just my two cents, but I would define somebody as being an astronaut if they either:
:* Have it as their full-time job (think NASA job title when training for a mission)
:* Have flown in space (think [[astronaut wings]])
: Thus, yes, I think there's an asymmetry where being part of a private crew is less likely to make the mission prep your full-time job. For these suborbital flights especially, they're often more test pilots who make get to go into space real briefly.
