There was a consensual lead that had been stable for years that has been butchered out without discussion and in a clearly non consensual way in the past two weeks. So my suggestion is to simply restore the “new”, unilateral lead to the previous, consensual one:

:::I for one found them too rapid and massive to handle. I don't like the <ref =O> format for one. The Harvard style method, which simply cites the listed source and always provides pagination, is scientific, whereas the other form leaves verification hanging in the air. The Harvard system was for long the default reference form.
