Also, "Letter of Alliance", "Eternal League" etc. seem to be ad-hoc translations from the German that are not actually in use. The proper term is "Federal Charter", or "Foedus Pactum". [[User:Dbachmann|dab]] 12:35, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC)

What does [[:Image:Bundesschwur Zuerich.jpg|Bundesschwur Zuerich.jpg]] do on this page? Which ''Bundesbrief'' is shown? I would think that it's the one that sealed the alliance of Zurich with the other four cantons (Uri, Schwyz, Unterwalden, and Lucerne). (Note that there are many ''Bundesbriefe'', basically one for each canton that joined! But there is only one "federal charter", which refers to the "original" document of uncertain provenance between Uri, Schwyz, and Unterwalden.) [[User:Lupo|Lupo]] 11:39, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
