==Update on APP projects==

The APP website says that they have conducted numerous studies about how to achieve their goals, and are moving into the "implementation phase."  Criticism of APP suggests that the APP is low on substance, but to be fair to APP maybe we should look at these projects and see if they don't give some substance and promise some results.

== Successes ==

The "Successes" section text is taken (mostly) verbatim from a press release from the Japanese gvt in 2009--the kind of press release that naturally has to say "our meetings are terrific, our partners are awesome, this is all great". It could be paraphrased or quoted and attributed to the Ministry of the Environment, but I don't think it deserves even that.
