==Playing career==
Amodu, a [[Forward (association football)|striker]], played for [[Dumez F.C.|Dumez]] and [[Niger Tornadoes F.C.|Niger Tornadoes]]. Amodu managed a number of club sides in Nigeria, such as [[Enyimba F.C.|Enyimba FC]], [[BCC Lions FC|BCC Lions]], [[El-Kanemi Warriors F.C.|El-Kanemi Warriors]] and [[Shooting Stars SC|Shooting Stars]]; he also managed [[Orlando Pirates]] in South Africa.<ref name = "GM"/>
