'''Sherman George Landers''' (March 24, 1898 &ndash; May 15, 1994) was an American [[Track and field|track and field athlete]] who competed in the [[1920 Summer Olympics]]. In 1920 he finished fifth in the [[Athletics at the 1920 Summer Olympics – Men's triple jump|triple jump competition]].  Landers-Loomis Field at Oregon High School in Oregon, Illinois, is named in part for him, and for his Oregon and Olympic teammate [[Frank Loomis]].
