Kronborg made his senior debut with Vejle Boldklub in April 2004.<ref name="vb">{{in lang|da}} [http://www.vejle-boldklub.dk/index.php?gammel_spillere=6315 Vejle Boldklub profile]</ref> He played 35 league games and scored two goals for the club,<ref name="vb"/> including two Superliga games in the [[Danish Superliga 2006-07|2006–07 season]].<ref name="df">[http://www.danskfodbold.com/spiller.php?ligaid=2001&spillerid=10872 Lasse Kronborg] at DanskFodbold.com</ref> He asked to have his Vejle contract terminated in April 2007, the day after his 21st birthday.<ref>[http://www.vejle-boldklub.dk/index.php?nyhedsarkivet&newsId=704 VB har ophævet kontrakten med Lasse Kronborg], [[Vejle Boldklub]], April 4, 2007</ref> He continued playing amateur football with [[Hedensted IF]], who had just qualified for the [[Jutland Series]].
