==History==
Girgarre was established in 1920 and has competed in the [[Kyabram District Football League|Kyabram District Football Association]] (KDFA) since 1932. [[Girgarre, Victoria|Girgarre]] is a small town in Goulburn Valley, Victoria.

In 1939, Girgarre pulled out of the KDFA on the eve of the season,<ref>{{cite web |title=1939 -  Clearance Catch? ==Stanhope / Girgarre FC==
