Faisal did not play this season because of an injury he suffered in the final of the Super Cup on September 23, 2009, between [[Al Ain FC]] and [[Al-Ahli Football Club - Dubai|Al Ahli]] which lost on [[Penalty shootout (football)|penalties]].
