The '''Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs''' ('''DG ECFIN''') is a [[Directorate-General]] of the [[European Commission]], founded in 1958. It is one of the largest Directorate-Generals in the Commission, with a staff of about 2,000 people.<ref name=":0" />
