'''Arthur Eustace Morgan''' (26 July 1886 &ndash; 3 February 1972) was the eighth Principal and Vice-Chancellor of [[McGill University]].

Born in [[Bristol]], [[England]], he was educated at [[University College, Bristol]] (now the [[University of Bristol]]) and [[Trinity College, Dublin]].<ref name="WW">{{Who's Who | title = MORGAN, Arthur Eustace | id = U157715 | type = was | volume = 2024 | edition = online}}</ref> After a career as a lecturer and (later) professor of English Literature at the universities of [[University of Exeter|Exeter]] and [[Sheffield University|Sheffield]], he was appointed the first Principal of [[University of Hull|University College Hull]] in 1926, remaining in situ until 1935.<ref name="WW"/> From 1935 to 1937, he was the Principal of McGill.
