Transportation engineers and urban planners are participating in this, why is it "non-notable" ?
Take the concept of "Aether" a physics concept now outdated by relativity. Certain, it still merits an encyclopedia entry. With traffic congestion being perhaps the greatest urban issue of modern society, should novel ideas not be exposed to the public ? If a concept has attracted a grassroots initiative large enought to produce 100 webpages with 50 images, does that not make it "noteable' ?
Isn' the website a bit big for a hoax, 60 pages, 100+ images, many 3d renderings..20 referendum proposals..?
- Maybe not a "hoax" in the sense that someone somewhere in the world might support this, but could still be a "hoax" in the sense of this being a significant legislative proposal. Where has this been on the ballot, and how can I find evidence of that? Dcarrano 01:40, July 19, 2005 (UTC)
Legislative proposal: "Significance" - does the fact that the signature gathering process is slow influence significance more than the content of the proposal ? Significance can hopefully be achieved by content, not only whether you have the money to pay signature gatherers at shopping malls. We are runnning out of gridspace. The California Hallitube Initiative proposes 20 separate referendum measures to ease traffic congestion, some quite radical. Significance, as a quality, has to be derived from content, not only by width of distribution. Otherwise we would do polls on physics theories. The system has become too ossified generate major structural changes from the top...
