The page existed before but someone deleted it. I was trying to put it back using google's cache, and meanwhile i had put the link there (ie http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_open-source_search_engines).
Are we sure we want this page to be in this format? Keeping 'latest stable release' up to date is going to require someone visiting the page every few weeks. DJ Clayworth 14:29, 17 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Maybe the "last checked and updated on" helps a bit. It's best at least having some old info then having none. Or maybe we could take off just the "latest stable release". I dunno...
