Structure
When someone has time, please add proper headings. I can imagine at least the following headings:
- Species, listing the species.
- APIs, talking about the core API, compara API, Ensembl Hive, and possibly the gene building pipeline.
- Sub-projects (or spin-offs), like BioMart, Reactome etc.
- Misc., other stuff like the send a geek for a week thing, and external workshops on Ensembl.
- Other efforts, recognizing similar efforts, such as the UCSC browser.

Shorter
I would make this article *much* shorter. There is too much information. Most of this information belongs on ensembl.org and not wikipedia.org. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.111.85.90 (talk) 11:21, 3 June 2015 (UTC)
