==Do we need a citation for a calendar calculation?==
The note about his death being "generally accepted" as 589 may need a citation, but the "citation needed" flag appears to be on the statement that 1 March 589 was a Tuesday, which is a simple mathematical fact about the Julian calendar that can be readily checked any number of ways. It seems odd to require documentation for such a thing. If the Welsh somehow presaged Pope Gregory's new calendar 1000 years early and made 1 March 589 a Sunday, that would indeed require a citation.. :Looking into it, it seems that 589 is but one of several dates, another favourite is 601, but nothing is certain; looking at the wording, it appears that someone felt that saying that he was born on a Tuesday would therefore fix the year as 589, and someone else appropriately queried this. The later statement "An authentic catalogue of patron saints of countries of the world has yet to be made" makes election seem the less likely.
