cdebootstrap creates Debian base systems from scratch. It is a C implementation of debootstrap. For alternatives, see Tools to create a build system.
Use cdebootstrap instead of debootstrap if the distribution you want to install is only present in cdebootstrap. At the time of writing, the only such distribution is Kali Linux .
