  • Future of OG PP/PT support
    • kernel support for Librem5 is good (Purism)
    • kernel support for Qualcomm devices, also good (sdm845-mainline, pmOS people)
    • kernel support for Pine64 devices pretty bad (mostly megi, who made their source code mostly unavailable)
    • looking for feedback on https://salsa.debian.org/Mobian-team/web/mobian-blog/-/merge_requests/37/diffs (especially line 106)

    • should discuss (again) with pmOS about PPP kernel maintenance
  • in 3-4 weeks, linux-6.6 should be out (likely next LTS), then it will make sense to drop intermediate 6.3/4/5 packages
  • bookworm images to be re-generated as soon as testing is done
    • let's sync in the dev channel to check when we'll all have some spare time to test new images
  • (Marco) as we start having users with double (Phosh+?PlaMo) systems, shall we discuss how to avoid GTK/Phosh style being overwritten by Plasma's first boot?

  • offer more desktop environments in our images
    • one live image per device per desktop environment
    • need more per-DE metapackages (meta-sxmo? meta-plasma-mobile is being worked on)
  • re installer images:
    • wait for ondev2
  • potential ?PineTab-V support

    • SoC mostly supported upstream, lacking display & GPU support (no known effort to add those at the moment)

    • riscv64 packages in Trixie, should check current state (do we have all packages, or are some missing?)
      • => all good, fixed the last missing package (gnome-control-center)
