Background: I am doing B.Tech(Computer Science) from University of Delhi and I am in III year. I have good coding skills. I also have good knowledge about networks,algorithms,database,operating systems , etc.

Project title : Improving voice, video and chat communication with free software
Project details: The project is about improving communication with free software using technologies like SIP, XMPP and peer-to-peer technology. There are several issues concerned with the project which have to be completed to achieve the goal.
I would like to work on Evolution: reply to emails with a SIP or XMPP call and ITSP quick setup wizard for softphones on Linux.
* Benefits to Debian : Debian users can use SIP call to reply to emails and because Debian is a linux distribuion an ITSP setup will enhance it.
Deliverables: Completion of atleast the above mentioned two issues.
Project Schedule:
If given an opportunity to work ,I will work as per the following schedule
22 April-22 May : Work on the layout of the project and explore SIP and ITSP.
25 May - 20 June : Work on reply to emails with SIP or XMPP call and perform the necessary tests required.
21 June - 5 August : work on ISTP setup wizard for softphones on linux and perform the necessary tests required.
5 August - 20 August : Evaluate the codes thoroughly.
21 August : Submit the code
* Exams and other commitments: I have my university exams during the community bonding phase and the last exam is on May 24.
