Background: I am a third-year PhD Student in Computer Science at the Warsaw University of Technology, interested in research on data-intensive distributed systems, modelling and processing huge amounts of data in real time using cloud computing and big data infrastructure.

Project details: The main aim of the Project is extending the previous work on system monitoring, including Ganglia packages, ganglia-nagios-bridge, ?PyNag and syslog-nagios-bridge.
Synopsis: I want to add my involvement in an open-source project. I am going to extend the Ganglia packages, ganglia-nagios-bridge, ?PyNag and syslog-nagios-bridge.
Benefits to Debian: Remarkable additional value: extension of existing Ganglia packages, improvement of existing ganglia-nagios-bridge, ?PyNag and syslog-nagios-bridge.
Deliverables: Extension of existing Ganglia packages, improvement of existing ganglia-nagios-bridge, ?PyNag and syslog-nagios-bridge.
Project schedule: I am going to be involve in 3-months project.
Exams and other commitments: No exams during internship time.
Other summer plans: I am going on holiday with my family for two weeks on the second part of September.
Why Debian?: It seems to me that Debian offers the most suitable topics to both my interests and my research.
My previous Debian contributions: I have no contributions so far but I have been working as System Administrator for four years. I hope that experience that I have gained would be a comprehensive additional value in this edition GSoC.
