DebianOn is an effort to document how to install, configure and use Debian on some specific hardware. Therefore potential buyers would know if that hardware is supported and owners would know how get the best out of that hardware. The purpose is not to duplicate the Debian Official Documentation, but to document how to install Debian on some specific hardware. If you need help to get Debian running on your hardware, please have a look at our user support channels where you may find specific channels (mailing list, IRC channel) dedicated to certain types of hardware. |

Important Note
Configuration
Display
- (not covered yet)
Audio
- Audio works out of the box, so does outputting on HDMI, Nahimic 2.5 is not available on Linux. However users can config the audio presets using Easyeffects or similar free software.
Mouse
- (not covered yet)
Power Management
- Sleep and Hibernation tested and experienced no issues.
WiFi & Bluetooth
- Works out of the box, no additional config needed
Keyboard
- zone backlight that outputs red color by default, the backlit and its hotkeys works fine. However to configure the 3-zone colors it is not natively supported since the proprietary MSI app is pretty much non-existent on linux. However you can use additional software such as OpenRGB. Personalized hotkey on F4, ECO battery mode on F5, and seamless profile switch on F7 key doesn't work and no workaround currenlty available.
