It has been a while since ?CodeHelp produced a set of playing cards - eek that was DebConf11 in Banja Luka! Some people have moved on, some are still here (all be it with a different amount of hair)

So how about we make a new set of cards, or perhaps even 2 decks?

I have had a very quick look and a deck of cards with 52 individual photos / text on the front and a graphic on the back will cost around £6 (although i haven't confirmed the print quality of the cards just yet), add to that postage and if you sign up, then you are on the hook for potentially £10-15 (GBP) for a pack of cards. I would HOPE that this price will come down (perhaps as much as 50%) but I don't want to offer cards below their actual price!

So if you are still reading this and want to appear in the Debconf'25 Special edition playing cards then Aigars has agreed to take your photo against a plain background that we can use to produce the correct artwork. He will be available during every *afternoon break* (16:00-16:30, up to Saturday) in the Centre-Vie near the water cooler. Come and get your photo taken, then update this wiki page with your details.

Logistics: We'll issue a deck of cards once we have reached 52 (54 with jokers?) people, and potentially a 2nd set if we reach 104 people. This will allocated on first come basis. Please feel free to suggest your suit and rank number for the card you wish to appear on. I will give priority to re-issuing the same card number if you appeared in the 2011 deck. Likewise I will prioritise DPLs, DAM, Front desk, release team members for court cards as this seems only fitting to me. I will finalise the number of decks, postage address etc once we know how much they will cost.
