Template:WikiProject banner shell This article says that the yield on a bond is current yield. That is not the way the word yield is used in the bond markets in the United States. One would never say "yield" to mean "current yield". Yield would always mean bond equivalent yield. The controlling reference (again, in the United States) is the documentation published by the Bond Market Association (which used to be called the Public Securities Association). I am thinking of adding some explanation to the article, and I wanted to see if there are other thoughts. Morris 00:22, Dec 10, 2004 (UTC)

agricultural yield

Yield also has an agricultural meaning which should be included here. yield would always mean bond equivalent yield.

manufacturing yield
