Template:WikiProject banner shell Template:Broken anchors Why will it take until 2015? That's a VERY long time to build something! Especially since the original buildings were constructed in less time, and completed in 1973.
Personally, I think it's pathetic that today's tallest buildings aren't even twice the height of the Empire State Building, which was built over 70 years ago. We should have buildings MUCH taller today!
Then again, maybe we COULD, it's just that their construction would not be economically rational. Cogent
