unit of measurement for mass

In some English-Russian dictionaries have written that "load" is the old English unit of measurement for mass:

• 1 load of ore = 158,3 kg
• 1 load of wheat = 40 bushels ≈ 1090 kg
• 1 load of hay = 36 trasses = 914,4 kg
• 1 load of fresh hay = 979,8 kg
• 1 load of straw = 587,9 kg
• 1 load of roundwood = 40 feet = 1,12 m³
• 1 load of boards = 50 feet = 1,416 m³
