Area code length (after 0 or +44) in UK
This edit incorrectly moved Argentina and United Kingdom from "2 to 5" to "1 to 5". So,

- Digit counts are not really interesting here, therefor now eliminated, simplifying the list to the most notable countries. kbrose (talk) 17:51, 2 March 2025 (UTC)
- The next problem in that paragraph is that the Austria, Australia and Japan wikilinks link to the generic top-level country articles for each, instead of to the specific intended Telephone numbers in ... articles. -- 78.151.53.29 (talk) 18:22, 2 March 2025 (UTC)
- I wasn't aware... will check, thank you. kbrose (talk) 23:23, 2 March 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, yes, they point to the country articles. This is common in most telecom articles that mention countries. It is sort of a very trivial link, as if someone needed to check up what Japan, for example, actually means, and I am not sure that I like that myself but I don't feel like changing that custom. kbrose (talk) 23:38, 2 March 2025 (UTC)
- The other countries listed in that paragraph link to the correct Telephone numbers in ... articles, but those three countries don't -- 78.151.53.29 (talk) 00:18, 3 March 2025 (UTC)

Edit Request for the Integrated telephone numbering plan section
New words underlined. Deletions strikethrough.
In an integrated telephone numbering plan multiple countries share a single ITU country code. The North American Numbering Plan comprises 25 countries or dependent territories in North America and the Caribbean using country code 1. Similarly, in eastern Europe and Asia, world numbering zone 7 with country code 7 comprises Russia and Kazakhstan with country code 7.
Perhaps "country code 1" and/or "NANP" should link somewhere, as "country code 7" does. -- 89.240.139.230 (talk) 18:16, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
