Azerbaijan is the name of a region in Northwestern Iran. The name of the country which has decided to steal the name of that Iranian region in recent history is the Azerbaijan Republic. Using Azerbaijan without Republic points to that Iranian region not the new country in the Caucasus. --Mani1 22:43, 15 Aug 2004 (UTC)
