I have never heard of the Daystrom Data Concepts company (And the star trek encyclopedia doesnt mention it). However the Daystrom institute is not a company but, as it's name says, an institute. It is my guess that the person who started this article was using non-canon sources. Could someone check?

In Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise, Daystrom Data Concepts are mentioned as the manufacturer of USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A main computer. It reports that the computer is located in the core of the saucer section directly beneath the helm console. It could be speculated that Daystrom Data Concepts is a commercial arm of the Daystrom Institute. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Antcollins (talkcontribs) 09:37, 8 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
