Cash for planting bomb

I have removed the part where it says that planting the bomb gives the player $1800, for that has been removed since v1.5.

When the round time expires without the bomb being successfully planted and detonating, the Counter-Terrorists win (Not applicable to Counter-Strike: Source, when the bomb is planted, the round time disappears)

That is false - since a steam update the round time disappears in CS 1.6, too.

Duplicate Sections

There is right now two realism sections, both of them are cover similar topics, they should be either merged or one should be removed

Typo in Controversy Section

The quote: You can rehearse these type of massacres on simulators which are called video games and you can...therefor made more proficient in doing this." There is an 'e' at the end of therefore, should I correct this or is the quote intentionally spelt wrong?

Famous?

Counter Strike is famous for the culture surrounding it, which includes everything from professional gamers and leagues, to excessive cheating and disruptive behavior.

Can someone verify this sentence?

Nannoyani, I unfortunately might have my fears. We shouldn't be citing info from wikis, as that leads to potentially incorrect information spreading around. We have many, many instances of this happening. — 🌙Eclipse (she/they/all neostalkedits) 22:46, 7 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hey @LunaEclipse,
Thanks for sharing your concern, and I appreciate that. Well, my intention was to expand the article and I used the ones from Fandom pages. Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to go through the entire article again to fix stuff, which can be accounted by my loss of motivation. Once again, thank you for informing me. Sorry if I can't do anything. Nannoyani (talk) 00:14, 8 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hey @LunaEclipse, I originally asked @Nannoyani to leave this notice, see User_talk:Nannoyani#Counter-Strike_(video_game). I was following the edits and was more concerned about copyvio issues, rather than sourcing. In generally, Nannoyani was not actually citing to the wiki, but did use some of the language. Their notice here in this section is a little unclear, but Nannoyani did a good job of following links from the fandom wiki and citing to those, rather than fandom itself.
