I just noticed that the limit for the free version of the Copernic Desktop Search is actually 25.000 files (see Copernic Search Soultion Comparaison) and not 10.000 files anymore.

Template:Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Also there is no Wikipedia article, so notability is questionable at this stage. LizardJr8 (talk) 19:09, 15 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

DuckDuckGo

The list gives the ownership of DuckDuckGo as "Multiple, including Microsoft Bing". No source is cited for this and the company insists that it is privately owned, and the ownership is not public knowledge. See [1] on the ownership and [2] on its connection with Bing. If there is no RS for Bing part ownership, this should be removed. Dudley Miles (talk) 20:56, 9 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Presearch listing

"Presearch" should be in "General purpose" "P2P search engines" and "Privacy search engines" Multilingual, metasearch. It is a decentralized with 40,000 nodes across the world, privacy-focused search engine, live since 2017. - https://www.pcmag.com/picks/go-beyond-google-best-alternative-search-engines - https://decrypt.co/304656/presearch-rolls-out-privacy-first-chatbot-pregpt-2-0-to-challenge-big-tech - https://techcrunch.com/2021/12/13/presearch-launch/ http://presearch.com Brokebutbrilliant (talk) 23:08, 11 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Fynd

Fynd would be a good addition to the list of search engines -- w/ their own database - fynd.bot Hiddenspectrum44 (talk) 09:11, 24 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Template:Edit semi-protected Add OceanHero as a Search Engine to the Page (List of Search Engine) and also to Social and environmental focus sub heading in the By Model Type. Oceanhero is a search engine similar to Ecosia and it uses its revenue to clean plastic in Oceans. Oceanhero was launched on 2019!, It has been certified by the United Nations (UN) Head of Marine and Freshwater Branch.

As noted, entries here should have an article established first. Additionally, "Simple Wikipedia" would not be an acceptable source. Sam Kuru (talk) 11:48, 5 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
