Update graphs?

Hi,

The main graphs showing world total energy production and US energy flow are from 2012 and 2011 respectfully. It is more than a decade later. Someone should update these graphs for the 2020s. I would really appreciate it. 🙏🙏🙏 184.147.47.69 (talk) 05:15, 31 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Good idea (except for US specific stuff as this is a global article) - you can download from Our World in Data, upload to Wikimedia Commons and use here. If you have any difficulty doing so please ask. Chidgk1 (talk) 14:47, 16 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Wiki Edu Assignment: Oceanic Section Under Review

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

In the next couple weeks, I will be revising and editing this article for an energy and sustainability course project. I would appreciate any feedback on my proposed edits, which I will be working on in my user sandbox. So far, my planned changes to the article include:

  • Under the Oceanic section, I have modified the first paragraph by specifying how Marine Renewable energy works from a physics perfective, which information wasn't in the article before.
  • Adding a section on Marine energy technology, and its development in different countries, and analyzing its sustainability.
  • Reorganizing the three paragraphs in a way that is easier to read and adding more information to it, what do you think is missing?
  • Updating and adding citations to all three paragraphs by adding 5 new sources which have been published no later than 2022.

Please let me know what do you think of the changes I have made so far, do you agree, or would you change anything?

Thanks! Irishyseni (talk) 22:08, 18 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Wiki Edu Assignment: Renewable sources Section Under Review

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

In the next couple weeks, I will be revising and editing this article for an energy and sustainability course project. I would appreciate any feedback on my proposed edits, which I will be working on in my user sandbox. So far, my planned changes to the article include:

  • Updating the sources for information on renewable energy sources
  • Updating the statistics regarding renewable energy consumption and production (some over 10 years old)
  • Diversifying the sources in the general info part of the Renewable sources section, currently almost all from one source
  • Lastly adding more information about renewable energy's role in developing countries
