The football is an urban myth, I believe. It certainly shouldn't be in the article unless we can produce a reference to a paper of Lorenz's describing the experiment. Lorenz did use a football-sized cardboard easter egg (as used in Germany and Austria for wrapping Easter presents), but that was in a different experiment, on eggrolling, and I don't think he ever did choice experiments with this stimulus. seglea 23:42, 15 Dec 2003 (UTC)
