"Please send more white gorillas." ???

I am suspicious that the paragraph with this quote, including "harvest testicles" is bunk. People fooling around... I've looked on line by google search for supporting information and have found none. The citations look weak. I include the next "David Taylor" paragraph in my suspicion. I've just deleted two dubious, non-sourced alternate names for the gorilla ("buttercup" "vanilla gorilla"). Reluctant to continue cleanup by deletion, however. As is common, the text from the article is spread over the internet, so searching for information just turns up a reflection of this article. If there was this genetic/breeding effort, there would be scientific publications to support it, I should think (rather than an ancient, obscure (fictional looking) newspaper article with no link...). To note that per comments above, others had similar suspicions dating to 2008. No citations in 14 years... I should think if there was an IVF program, that would have been noted in the citations giving information about the offspring. Bdushaw (talk) 12:01, 28 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
I've found numerous eulogies for Snowflake in reputable places (NBC, AP, etc.) and none of them mention any of the above notions. I feel more confident about removing the above text. I noted also that "harvest testicles" had been removed before. Those that feel these facts are true should feel free to restore the text with reputable citations to support.
