Edit War / Netanyahu's Authoritarianism

Template:Mention Since i think something productive can come out of this dispute, i'd like to try airing these issues out before this goes to ANI. Would attributing the statements regarding authoritarianism to some variation of opposiitoin politicians and researchers in the field be acceptable to you? I think the issue regarding authoritarianism clearly warrants mention but it needs more WP:NPOV phrasing. I'd also propose similar attribution-related changes to the part regarding the blaming of the leftist deep state to netanyahu (per the video he published a month ago + other statements) and the part regarding far-right politicians. What do you all think? Totalstgamer (talk) 18:21, 27 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Infobox length

The infobox is too long imo, it's causing us to run into problems with MOS:SANDWICH. There are possibly more pics of Netanyahu in his youth that the article could benefit from that we can't include because of the infobox length and sandwiching.

Unfortunately because his career is so significant and long, length is arguably justified. But maybe some sections of the infobox could be collapsed, like his family for instance. Maybe an article could be created for "Family of Benjamin Netanyahu" and be linked in the "relatives" section instead. Or some autocollapsed sections be created. grapesurgeon (seefooddiet) (talk) 20:43, 13 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

I honestly agree, all the ministerial positions are already collapsed. You could collapse the UN Ambassador role into the suboffices and/or remove the mention of his Chairmanship of Likud. I don't oppose the family idea Totalstgamer (talk) 21:08, 13 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
I may not work on the collapsing btw, just a passing comment. Have other current projects rn grapesurgeon (seefooddiet) (talk) 21:34, 13 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Template:Edit extended-protected There is no mention that he is a wanted war criminal in the free world. No section regarding it nor is there any links to the current warrant. There is also no mention of relations with far right parties in Europe and America. 90.246.12.230 (talk) 00:26, 1 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

File:Red question icon with gradient background.svg Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Just FYI the final sentence of the lead contains "The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant in November 2024 for Netanyahu" Cannolis (talk) 00:42, 1 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
It's mentioned at the end of the third paragraph of the lead. Please read the article before commenting. Also note you must have an account that is 30 days old with 500 edits to edit about this topic. 331dot (talk) 00:44, 1 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

This is already in the lead of the article. It's the International Criminal Court, not the International Court of Justice. 331dot (talk) 10:07, 20 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
He has not been "declared a war criminal", that's what a trial would do if he ever gets to The Hague. He has been charged with war crimes. 331dot (talk) 10:08, 20 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
