List

I've moved this back to Screenwriter from List of screenwriters. If someone would like to break the list out into a separate list of screenwriters, that would be fine and dandy, but here at screenwriter there should be and remain a description of the role of the screenwriter in the filmmaking process. --Brion 18:38 Apr 13, 2003 (UTC)

Hampton Fancher???

He only wrote two films after Blade Runner, neither of which were all that impressive. I would recommend his removal from this list as a notable screenwriter. Any argument?? Herandar 03:50, July 17, 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, I've moved the list so that it isn't quite so constrained by the apparently mystifying concepts expressed by "some" and "notable". --Mrwojo 00:15, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Proposed merge of Screenwriter's salary into Screenwriter

This is essentially a dictionary definition and poorly sourced with an arbitrary (and dated) list of "records". Minimal amount of this is encyclopedic, and should just be merged into Screenwriter ZimZalaBim ^talk 04:58, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
