Mystic

I can agree that the young Krishnamurti was a mystic. However, at maturity he does not posit mystical ideas. He smacks of New Age, he speaks of personal enlightenment, he speaks of religions, but in the end he does not claim to have supernatural insight.

Same as the Buddha, he did not claim that his teachings are based upon the supernatural (gods, angels, clairvoyance, channeling, etc.).

Nietzsche, Heidegger, Derrida, Lacan, Foucault were irrationalists. But they were not mystics. tgeorgescu (talk) 03:04, 24 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
