Semi-protected edit request on 11 November 2024
Template:Edit semi-protected Hello, can you please add glassblowers to the list of St. Nicholas's traditional patronage? This is generally common knowledge among Catholic glassblowers, but it would be nice to see on here as well. Thank you! 2607:FEA8:5FA1:AF00:602F:839C:EF7E:E999 (talk) 14:54, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
- File:Red question icon with gradient background.svg Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 13:00, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
Birth and Death place names
This may have been resolved however, Turkey was not an entity at the time of St. Nikolaos birth and death. Place names need to be restored to actual names in Google with "now in Turkey" present day or something like this. 45.3.29.23 (talk) 19:54, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
Image
The oldest and closest source images and icons of St. Nicholas clearly depict him as Black not White. Russian Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox icons depict it very plainly. change the image. 2600:1700:B108:5C10:E836:86B2:A7BB:8F82 (talk) 08:16, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
- Please name sources depicting St. Nicholas as a black person! There are none! He was a Greek and that time, as well as today black people were not living in Anatolia. 74.101.100.146 (talk) 00:53, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
