Hi there; this article says "The central processor clock speed was 1MHz.": does this also apply to the central built-in first 20,000 memory words/digits as well? --Wernher 02:48, 23 Nov 2003 (UTC)

The memory cycle time was 20 cycles of the main clock. All the memory ran that way, it did not matter where it was or which Model of the machine. The speed was limited by the cores used (faster core was used in the Model II). -- RTC 02:58, 23 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Merging
