Article was copied, word for word nearly, from DARPA website -- I assume there's no permissions problem?

From the site: "The DARPA ITO Web Site is provided as a public service by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency". That would seem to make it pretty clear that it's a government work, and therefore ineligible for copyright. --LDC

it still is plagiarism (unless DARPA actually wrote this wikipedia article... but then, it still has the appearance of plagiarism) and bad manners. the author could instead use a lot of block quoting and paraphrasing, and it would be much nicer in my humble opinion.
It should at least be converted to past tense, since it is no longer active.Mcswell (talk) 21:15, 28 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
